President of Cinémaginaire International, Denise Robert has produced many films that have won international prizes, including Denys Arcand’s The Barbarian Invasions, winner of over 45 international awards, including an Oscar. 

Her more recent productions include Luc Dionne’s Omertà, Émile Gaudreault’s Le sens de l’humour, Cédric Kahn’s A Better Life, Paul Arcand’s Dérapages, Louis Bélanger’s Route 132 and Émile Gaudreault’s De Père en flic (Fathers and Guns), the largest French-language box office hit ever in Quebec or Canada.

Denise Robert is a member of the prestigious Academy of Motion Picture Arts and Sciences, the British Academy of Film and Television Arts and the Académie des Arts et Techniques du Cinéma.

Denise Robert was inducted into the Academy of Great Montrealers in the Cultural category in 2008 and was named a Commander of the Ordre de Montréal in 2016.
