Although he was injured in an accident at a young age, René Dallaire’s brilliant career has progressed in parallel with his unwavering commitment to improving the lives of people with disabilities.

Founding the Québec Adapted Sailing Association or AQVA, whose activities now benefit more than 250 people, is certainly one of his most remarkable achievements. He is also co-founder of another non-profit, Société Logique, Québec’s leading organization for universal design, which promotes improved universally accessible facilities that can benefit the entire population.
