2019

CEO of the 7 Fingers company, Nassib El-Husseini has been key to the international success of this circus creation collective for over 15 years.

Arriving in Montréal from his native Lebanon in the 1980s, he earned a Ph.D. in Political Science in 1996 and published L’Occident Imaginaire through PUQ in 1998, launching a career as a political scientist and consultant.

In 2003 he crossed paths with seven artists from the Cirque du Soleil, determined to make their own mark in the contemporary circus world. He dove headfirst into their adventure and, supported by an exceptional team, has taken them around the world. Today 7 Fingers is one of the Québec companies presenting the largest number of shows abroad every year.

This leader and guiding light created and maintains cohesion and harmony among the seven co-founders and co-artistic directors, guaranteeing the company’s exceptional longevity and broadening the reach of its productions.
