Louise Champoux-Paillé

Officer
2026

A pioneer in the fields of financial and professional services and a widely distinguished board member, Louise Champoux-Paillé has devoted four decades to fostering more inclusive management practices.

An M.B.A. economist, museologist, and Fellow Certified Director, this discerner of talents and potentials began her career in a field then largely inaccessible to women before earning recognition as an agent of lasting change. Active on the boards of directors of organizations spanning a wide range of sectors, Louise Champoux-Paillé has inspired and propelled several generations of women seeking to achieve their full potential. Over the years, she has catalyzed foundational initiatives, notably as founding president of the Bureau des services financiers — precursor to the Autorité des marchés financiers — and as the first chief executive of the Ordre des administrateurs agréés du Québec and of Leucan. Louise Champoux-Paillé is also the originator of the Gala Femmes de mérite of Montréal’s Women’s Y. A mentor at heart, she contributes in a remarkable way to the vibrancy of the metropolis.
