Jean-Claude Poitras

Icon of the Québec fashion world, designer Jean-Claude Poitras dedicated his talent for over 30 years to creating collections for both men and women, as well as uniforms for businesses and institutions. He has also created costumes for film and stage performers.

Since the start of the new millennium, Poitras has expanded his scope to include all the design disciplines. His signature style can now be found at the table and in the world of decor, still in collaboration with Quebec manufacturers. Jean-Claude Poitras is also interested in the visual arts, exhibiting his work in many galleries, exhibitions and fairs in Québec and Canada as well as in Asia and the United States.

In addition to sharing his passion for beauty through teaching, presentations and collaborations with many media outlets, his many creations have made him an outstanding ambassador for both Montréal design and the city’s renowned life style.
