Developer Novaquark opens new video game studio in Montréal

Novaquark, a French video game studio announced the opening of a new office in Montréal.

The establishment of this new studio will complement and strengthen the company’s growing team, in addition to ramp up development on the gameplay of the ambitious civilization building MMO, Dual Universe. The new studio in Montréal plans to recruit a team of up 50 people, focused on the game’s production.

Montréal is the 5th largest global hub and the top Canadian video game center. Québec’s metropolis successively attracts world’s largest video games producers for its creative, vibrant and artistic culture. The city is well-positioned to benefit from an estimated global growth of 7 % in this sector.
