When you edit a style, you potentially affect many pages: not only the current page, but also all other pages currently adhering to the style.
To
edit style properties, you must have at least one of the following privileges:
Manage All privileges on the page group to which the style belongs

Tip: If the style is used by more than one page group, it will be under the Shared Objects page group.
Tip: If you do not know the name of the style you want to change, edit a page or region that uses the style. When editing a page or region, if you have the appropriate privileges, you can also edit the style used by that page or region.
