You can perform actions on multiple objects in a page group.

The bulk actions that you can perform on pages include:

• Delete - Deletes the pages.
  

• Move - Moves the pages.
  
• Copy - Copies the pages.
  
• Grant Access - Allows you to add to or overwrite the access privileges of the selected pages.
  
• Make Public - Makes the pages public.
  
• Make Private - Makes the pages private.
  
• Enable ILS - Enables item level security for the pages.
  
• Disable ILS - Disables item level security for the pages.
  
• Export - Adds the pages to the export transport set.

The bulk actions that you can perform on categories and perspectives include:

• Delete - Deletes the categories or perspectives.
  

• Export - Adds the categories or perspectives to the export transport set.

The bulk actions that you can perform on items include:

• Delete - Deletes the items.
  

• Move - Moves the items.
  
• Copy - Copies the items.

You must be the page group or portal administrator, or have the privileges on the objects, to perform actions on multiple objects.

To perform actions on pages, categories, or perspectives:

1. In the Navigator, click the Page Groups tab.

2. Navigate to Path: Page Groups.

3. In the Actions column, click Contents next to the page group that contains the objects that you want to perform actions on.

4. In the Actions column, click Bulk Action next to Pages, Categories, or Perspectives.

5. Select the objects and select a bulk action, such as Delete or Export.

To perform actions on multiple items:

1. Navigate to the page that includes the multiple items on which you want to perform an action.

   Note: If you do not see the page that you want to work with, you may not have the page access privileges. See your page group administrator to gain access.

2. Switch to Edit mode.

3. Click the List editing view.

4. Select the items and select a bulk action, such as Delete, Move To, or Copy To.

Notes

• You can also access pages, categories, perspectives, and items through performing a search.

• When you delete a category, all of the items and pages that are assigned to the category are reassigned to the parent category. If there is no parent category the items and pages are reassigned to the General category. If you delete the parent category as well, the items and pages are reassigned to the General category.

• If an object does not include a check box, you do not have permission to perform an action on the object.

• In page templates, you can move items to a different region within the same page template, but you cannot move items to a different page. You cannot copy items in a page template to a different page.
