An executive, professor, and researcher of international renown, Nathalie De Marcellis-Warin brings scientific research to bear on public policy and society.

Since 2016, she has served as President and Chief Executive Officer of CIRANO, an inter-university research, liaison and transfer centre in organizational studies. Also a professor at Polytechnique Montréal, this recognized specialist in risk management and social acceptability has led projects of considerable scope. Her work has informed public policy, notably on risk perception and communication, the economic and societal impacts of artificial intelligence, and the resilience of health care systems. Nathalie De Marcellis-Warin is the author of more than 100 scientific publications and over 10 books, and contributes to public debate through her regular media contributions. Committed to the French-language scientific community, her expertise is also well-recognized internationally, notably through her role as Visiting Scientist at Harvard’s T.H. Chan School of Public Health. Through her actions, her publications, and her public commentary, Nathalie De Marcellis-Warin has established herself as one of the most influential voices in Montréal's scientific life.
