Georges Coulombe

Patiently, he acquired and restored dozens of buildings that have since become landmarks, contributing to the renaissance of one of Canada's most precious jewels. In founding the Société de gestion Georges Coulombe in 1982, he championed a sustainable vision built on dialogue between past and present. An artist of real estate, he has revealed the heritage, urban, and cultural value of some thirty buildings — in Montréal and elsewhere in Québec — and in so doing has contributed to the emergence of vibrant living communities. His career has also included civic engagement, notably as founder of the Société de développement commercial du Vieux-Montréal.
