Launch of the most important international research project on Artificial intelligence and justice

The Cyberjustice Laboratory is pleased to announce the  Autonomy through Cyberjustice Technologies (ACT) research partnership.

With a 6.8 million grant from the Social Sciences and Humanities Research Council of Canada’s (SSHRC) and various partners, the purpose of the ACT partnership is to leverage artificial intelligence (AI) to prevent and resolve conflicts, to the benefit of justice stakeholders. Their work will also focus on the design and simulation of technological tools for conflict prevention and resolution. ACT’s research activities will take advantage of the expertise in AI and data harvesting of the IVADO Centre.
