Advanced manufacturing: $ 43.5 million granted to CRIQ to optimize support for businesses shift to industry 4.0

The Québec government invests $ 43.5 million in financial assistance to the Centre de recherche industrielle du Québec (CRIQ) to help revamp its business model and modernize its infrastructure.

This investment will allow the Centre to help manufacturing companies to shift to industry 4.0 sector and will be used for financing:

  • innovative manufacturing demonstration centers to familiarize businesses with new technologies;
  • a 3D printing center where training workshops will be offered to manufacturing companies.
