Adding a rollover effect to tabs

You can add a rollover effect to tabs—that is, change the appearance of a tab when the user moves the cursor over the tab—by enabling the rollover effect in the region that contains the tabs, and applying active and inactive images to the tabs.

To add a rollover effect to tabs, you must have at least one of the following privileges:

To add a rollover effect to a tab:

  1. Go to the page with which you want to work.

  2. Switch to Edit mode.

  3. Click in the region that contains the tab to which you want to add the rollover effect.

    Notes:

  4. Select Use Rollover Effect For Tab Images to enable the rollover effect for the tabs in this region.

  5. Click OK to return to the page.

  6. Edit each tab to specify active and inactive images.

    Note: The active tab image is used as the rollover image—that is, the active tab image displays when the user moves the cursor over the tab.
