To
display or hide portlet header links, you must have at least one of
the following privileges:You can choose which links to include in portlet headers.
The Customize link enables users to customize the way the portlet appears.
The Help link provides access to help text for the portlet.
The About link provides access to a description of the portlet.
The Details link provides access to a more detailed view of the portlet by clicking the portlet title.
The Remove link enables users to remove the portlet from the page.
The Collapse/Restore link enables users to minimize and maximize the portlet on the page.

To
display or hide portlet header links, you must have at least one of

Manage All privileges on the page group to which the page belongs
Manage privileges on the page
Manage global privileges on All Pages
If you have chosen not to display portlet headers, these links will not be displayed even if you have selected the appropriate check box.
Go to the page with which you want to work.
Switch to Edit mode.
Click 
in the region in which you want to display portlet header links.
Note: The portlet header link options are available only for portlet regions.
Select the appropriate check box:
Show Customize Link on Portlet Headers
Show Help Link on Portlet Headers
Show About Link on Portlet Headers
Show Details Link on Portlet Headers
Show Remove Link on Portlet Headers
Show Collapse/Restore Link on Portlet Headers
Click OK to return to the page.
Go to the page with which you want to work.
Switch to Edit mode.
Click
in the region in which you want to hide portlet header links.
Note: The portlet header link options are available only for portlet regions.
Clear the appropriate check box:
Show Customize Link on Portlet Headers
Show Help Link on Portlet Headers
Show About Link on Portlet Headers
Show Details Link on Portlet Headers
Show Remove Link on Portlet Headers
Show Collapse/Restore Link on Portlet Headers
Click OK to return to the page.
If you choose to display or hide a portlet header link, all the portlets within the region are affected. You cannot control portlet header links for individual portlets within the region. However, you can display portlet header links in one region and hide them in another.
