Finding shared database portlets

You must have Create or higher shared database portlet access authority to view shared database portlets in the Navigator.

To find a shared database portlet:

1. Click on the navigation shortcut bar.

2. Click the Providers in the Oracle Portal Navigator.

3. Scroll down the Name column to Shared database portlets.

4. Click Shared database portlets. The Name column of the Navigator displays shared database portlet types, for example, Colors , Fonts, Images, etc.

5. Click a shared database portlet type in the Name column.

6. The Name column now displays all shared database portlets of that type. The Type column identifies the shared database portlet as:

   • System - you cannot edit or export these shared database portlets.

   • User - you can edit or export these shared database portlets.
