When a user performs a search on the portal, the search criteria is compared to each page's display name, description, and keywords. To ensure that users find your page when they are searching the portal, add meaningful keywords to describe the contents of the page.
Keywords are also included in the page's META tags, so that they can be searched from the Web.
To
add keywords to a page, you must have at least one of the following privileges:
Manage All privileges on the page group to which the page belongs
Manage privileges on the page
Manage global privileges on All Pages
You can add keywords only to Standard, URL, and PL/SQL pages, or pages of custom types based on the Standard, URL, or PL/SQL page types.
To add keywords to a page:
In the Navigator, click Properties next to the page with which you want to work.
Click the Optional tab.
In the Keywords field, enter the keywords that best describe this page.
Click OK to return to the Navigator.
