If there is an existing page that you want to use as the starting point for a new page, you can copy the existing page and then edit the copy, rather than creating a completely new page.
To
copy a page, you must have at least one of the following privileges:

Manage privileges on the page under which you want to copy the page
Manage All global privileges on All Page Groups
To copy a page:
In the Navigator, click Copy next to the page that you want to copy.
Tip: If you want to copy the page group's home page, click Copy Root Page next to the page group.
In the Page Group Map, click Copy Here next to the page under which you want to create the copy.
Note: You must create the copy in the same page group as the original page.
In the Name field, enter a name for the new page.
Note: The name is used internally and for direct access URLs. The name is limited to 40 characters, and can contain any alphanumeric character (A-Z, a-z, 0-9), spaces, and the following special characters: _, -, ., (, ), ! , ; = ~ @.
In the Display Name field, enter a descriptive name for the new page.
Note: The display name is limited to 40 characters.
(Optional) Select Copy Access Control if you want the new page to have the same privilege settings as the original page.
(Optional) Select Copy Sub-Pages if you want to copy the original page's sub-pages.
Note: The copy options specified for the page also apply to its sub-pages. For example, if you select Copy Access Control, the privileges of the sub-pages are also copied. Also, copied sub-pages retain their original names.
(Optional) Select Copy Content to copy the properties of the original page and its content.
(Optional) Select Copy Portlet Customizations to copy any customizations made to the portlets on the original page. If you do not select this option, the portlets on the new page are reset to their default settings.
Note: This option is only available if you select Copy Content.
Click OK to create the new page.
