At its meeting on May 2, 2017, Borough Council authorized the awarding of a contract for a maximum amount of $1.8 million to Lanco Aménagement in order to develop green space around the Bassin du Suroît located in Parc du Bois-Franc as well as for various other work.
This contract was awarded following a call for tenders. This new work—the last phase in Parc du Bois-Franc's development, which began in 2015—will involve the following, in particular: grading the land, setting up exercise equipment, lookouts and walking trails, installing lighting, planting trees, shrubs and other vegetation, and integrating a water supply system as well as a system to aerate the water in the Bassin du Suroît. This work project will be completed by the end of October 2017.
