LaSalle, February 2, 2009 - The borough, in cooperation with the Montreal Juniors Hockey Club, is inviting you to take part in the "Special LaSalle Day' at Verdun Auditorium, at 7 p.m., on Wednesday, February 11. All LaSalle residents are being invited to this game, where the Montreal Juniors Hockey Club will be facing Victoriaville's Tigers.
Whether you're a sports fan, a hockey player or just curious, take advantage of this opportunity to come encourage and appreciate the talents of the players in the Montreal Juniors Hockey Club. Mayor Manon Barbe will be on hand to welcome LaSalle residents and drop the puck for the opening face-off.
Free admission for LaSalle Cougars All players on the LaSalle Cougars team who wear their hockey sweaters will be able to attend the event, free of charge, in addition to receiving a free soft drink and a piece of pizza. This will be an excellent outing for these youngsters, as they will have the chance to appreciate the hockey players' high caliber. Maybe some future NHL idols lie hidden among these players?
