The Christmas Basket Campaign is back! From December 1st to December 24th, Montréal firefighters and prevention officers will take to the streets to collect cash donations for Montréal families living in precarious situations. Give generously and help brighten their Holidays!

Make sure you carry some cash to hand out to firefighters and prevention officers in your neighbourhood, near your workplace or during your travels.

The objective of this campaign is to help 1,100 households, by providing:

  • $200 for groceries and $50 for pharmacy purchases to 350 families made up of 3 members or more;
  • $100 for groceries and $50 for pharmacy purchases to 250 familles made up of 2 members;
  • $100 for groceries to 500 Montrealers who live alone;
  • $25 gift cards for a toy store to every child under the age of 13.

The donations collected will be used to purchase the gift cards for grocery stores, pharmacies and toy stores. Offered in Holiday greeting cards, they will be delivered and handed out by the Société Saint-Vincent-de-Paul.
