France Leblanc

Now a consultant, France Leblanc possesses over 30 years of experience in organizational development and management in the fields of social development, higher education and the arts. A graduate of HEC, she worked in the business world for many years and founded and directed BLP Planification, a corporate career development consulting firm, before becoming executive director of the Association québécoise de défense des droits des personnes retraitées et préretraitées (AQDR) and project director at the City of Montreal's 375th anniversary office. She also founded Maestra, a company whose mission is to promote women's musical creation, and directed L'Autre Montréal, a group of experts in cultural and urban animation. A long-time feminist, she is particularly interested in the advancement of women in politics.
