In order to improve the image of a City gateway, to improve the streetscape and to incorporate facilities that favour travel by public transportation, bicycle and foot, the City recommends the following intervention:

• Redesign Sherbrooke East from Georges V to Marien and 40e Avenue in the east end of the City (to be performed by the Ville de Montréal).

In order to improve service, to develop employment areas with strong potential (see the L'Anse-à-l'Orme Detailed Planning Area) and to improve access to the Baie-d'Urfé station, the City favours the following interventions:

• Redesign the Autoroute 40/Morgan interchange (to be performed by the Ministère des Transports du Québec).
• Redesign the Autoroute 20/Morgan interchange (to be performed by the Ministère des Transports du Québec).
• Redesign the Autoroute 40 service roads in the West Island (to be performed by the Ministère des Transports du Québec).

In order to improve and open up major employment sectors with development potential and to improve the accessibility of some residential areas, the City favours the following interventions:

• Complete Maurice-Duplessis between Rivière des Prairies and Saint-Jean-Baptiste (to be performed by the Ville de Montréal).
• Complete Marien between Henri-Bourassa East and Maurice-Duplessis (to be performed by the Ville de Montréal).
• Complete Langelier (to be performed by the Ville de Montréal).
• Connect Toupin to Cavendish (to be performed by the Ville de Montréal).
• Extend Jacques-Bizard from Sommerset to Autoroute 40, including the construction of an interchange with Autoroute 40 (to be performed by the Ville de Montréal and the Ministère des Transports du Québec).
• Design an urban road link that integrates preferential measures for public transit in the Autoroute 440 right-of-way between Autoroute 40 and Gouin West, including the construction of an interchange with Autoroute 40 (to be performed by the Ville de Montréal and the Ministère des Transports du Québec).
