UQÀM hosts the first edition of China-Canada Forum on Science and Technology Innovation policy and Entrepreneurship

The Chinese Association for Science of Science and Science and Technology Policy Research (CASSSP), the Science Policy Information Network (SPIN) and the University of Québec at Montréal (UQAM) are pleased to announce that the “China-Canada Forum on Science & Technology Innovation policy and Entrepreneurship” will be held on August 5-9, 2018, in Montréal, Canada.

The conferences will focus on several topics that make the news and highlight the Canadian and Chinese practices. Among others:

  • Innovation and global flow of talents
  • Innovation and entrepreneurship in artificial intelligence and automation
  • Innovation and entrepreneurship in green energy technology
  • Innovation in high-speed rail
  • Innovation and entrepreneurship in shared economy
  • Science policy and governance: incentives and funding mechanisms

This international conference, to be held for the first time outside China, will gather Canadian and Chinese researchers and policy makers in a same venue, providing them a unique space for discussion and network around Innovation and Entrepreneurship policy.
