You can continue to display items in the pages of a page group even after they have been deleted. If you choose to display deleted items, they are visible (marked with a Deleted flag) to users when they are in Edit mode. Users with Manage Content privileges on a page can edit, move, or restore deleted items in that page.
To
display deleted items in a page group, you must have at least one of
the following privileges:
Manage All privileges on the page group
Manage All global privileges on All Page Groups
To display deleted items you must have also chosen to retain deleted items in the database.
In the Navigator, click Properties next to the page group with which you want to work.
Click the Items tab.
Select Display Deleted Items.
Click OK to return to the Navigator.
Only users with at least Manage Item privileges on a deleted item (if item level security is enabled), or at least Manage Content privileges on the page that contains the deleted item can see deleted items when a page is in Edit mode.
