Choosing your home page

Your home page is the first page displayed when you log in to your portal, or when you click the Home link or icon. The logic for determining your home page is as follows:

• If you have specified a personal home page, that page is displayed.

• If you have not selected a personal home page, but the portal administrator has set one for you, the default home page specified for you is displayed.

• If you have not selected a personal home page, but you belong to a default group, the default home page specified for that group is displayed.

• If there is no default home page for your default group, the system default home page is displayed.

If mobile support is enabled, you can specify a different home page to display when you access the portal from a mobile device.

To specify your home page:

1. Click Account Info.

   Note: This link can be displayed on any page at the discretion of the page designer.

2. Next to the Default Home Page field, click to see a list of pages from which to choose.

   Note: You cannot enter a value in this field, you must select one from the pop-up list.

3. Click Return Object next to the page you want to make your home page.

4. Click OK.

   Note: Click Reset to remove this setting.

   Tip: To check that you set your home page correctly, log out of the portal and log back in again. When you log back in, you should be taken the page that you specified as your home page.

Notes:

• If you cannot find an Account Info link anywhere in your portal, go to the Page Group tab of the Navigator, locate the page you want to use as your home page, and click Make Default.

• You can identify your home page in the Navigator because instead of a Make Default link, it has a Reset Default link. You can click this link to reset your home page to the system default home page.

To specify your mobile home page:

1. Click Account Info.

   Note: This link can be displayed on any page at the discretion of the page designer.

2. Next to the Default Mobile Home Page field, click to see a list of pages from which to choose.

   Notes:

   • You cannot enter a value in this field, you must select one from the pop-up list.

   • The list of pages includes only mobile pages.

   • If you do not see the Default Mobile Home Page field, mobile page design has not been enabled for the portal.

3. Click Return Object next to the page you want to make your home page when you access the portal from a mobile device.

4. Click OK.

   Note: Click Reset to remove this setting.
