2019 Warning Sirens Tests

September 6, 2019

The Centre de la sécurité civile de Montréal, in collaboration with factories that have installed a public warning siren for toxic leaks, will coordinate testing of public warning sirens from September 10-13.

The purpose of these tests is to ensure that all equipment is working properly and that all emergency responders are prepared for a real emergency. It's also a great opportunity to remind residents what they should do if they hear the siren in a real industrial accident.
