Rental Housing for seniors citizens

Safe, welcoming and affordable apartments

Several residences with services for elderly people have been built across the Island of Montréal by the city and its partners. They are intended for elderly persons or those with a slight loss of autonomy in the low-to-modest income bracket. They are owned by community organizations or the Office municipal d’habitation de Montréal. Those belonging to the Office are grouped under the name Les Résidences ENHARMONIE name.

The buildings are serviced by elevators and are accessible to persons with reduced mobility. They offer quality apartments. One-to-four room apartments are available for persons living alone, couples or co-tenants. They feature a full kitchen, and in most cases, a private balcony. Heating is included in the lease for most apartments, and all units are safe, have controlled access and laundry rooms.

Most of the residences for the elderly offer services, including three to five meals per week, served in a cafeteria or dining room. They also feature community rooms for social or recreational events. Entertainment activities make these residences a great place to live.
