Getting an Accès Montréal card
A card that quickly pays for itself
For just $8, the card often pays for itself the first time it is used because of the discounts our partners offer! And if several people living at the same address get several cards simultaneously, the prices go down:
- $8 for the first card
- $7 for the second card
- $6 for subsequent cards
Some 70 points of sale
- Accès Montréal offices
- Borough offices
- Municipal libraries
Easy to use
Do you live in Montréal or own property in Montréal? If so, you can get an Accès Montréal card. Simply show the following documents at one of the points of sale:
- A recent photo (passport format passeport)
- Proof of residence (driver’s license, municipal tax bill, utility bill from Hydro-Québec, Bell, etc.)
- Photo I.D. (health insurance card, driver’s license, etc.)
One month before your Accès Montréal card expires, you will receive a notice of renewal by mail and a form to complete with your payment made to the order of “Ville de Montréal.” If your card has already expired, you must go to a point of sale to renew it.
