Arenas and Skating Rinks

Centre sportif Dollard-St-Laurent

Centre sportif Dollard-St-Laurent The sports centre offers a vast choice of recreational activities that are bound to please sports lovers of all ages. Besides, a large indoor skating rink (ice time rentals available), there is a gymnasium, and a boxing club. Consult the Loisirs et Culture directory for details of the activities.

Public skating (until March 2016)
Sunday: 1:30 p.m. – 4 p.m. : October 25, November 1, 8, 15, 22, December 13, 20, 27, 2015 and January 3, 10, 17, 31, February 7, 14, 21, 28, March 6, 2016.
Wednesday: 2 p.m. – 3:30 p.m. : October 14 and 28, November 4, 11, 18 and 25, December 2, 9, 16, 23 and 30 2015 and January 6, 13, 20, 27, February 3, 10, 17, 24 and March 2, 2016

Admission : $1 (child) and $2 (adult)

Hockey Pick-up Games (until April 28, 2016)
Thursday : 3:30 p.m. – 4:30 p.m.: October 22 - December 17, 2015 and January 7 - April 28, 2016 (ages 8-12)
Tuesday and Thursday : noon – 1 :30 p.m. : October 20 - December 17, 2015 and January 7 - April 28, 2016 (ages 18 and up)

Hockey Gear Required
Minors : complete gear
Adults : helmet with visor, neck and gauntlets

Players don't need to register and may practice once or more per week. Maximum 32 players per game. The players set up the teams and determine the rules of the game. Body checking and slap shots prohibited. Fees : $2 (age 8-12) and $5 (age 18 and over).

Jacques-Lemaire arena

All year long, Jacques-Lemaire arena welcomes hockey teams of all levels as well as speed skating and figure skating enthusiasts. Public skating times are also scheduled. In addition, ice time may be rented to play your favourite sports. Consult the Loisirs et Culture directory to find out the ice sports available.

How to Find Available Indoor Ice Time in Summer

During the summer, the Borough makes ice time available to residents, at both Aréna Jacques-Lemaire and Centre sportif Dollard-St-Laurent. To find out if any time slots are available on the date of interest to you, just go to Loisirs en ligne and click on Espaces, and then on Types d’espaces and Lieux d’activités. Then select Aréna Jacques-Lemaire or Centre sportif Dollard-St-Laurent and enter the date you want.

Outdoor rinks are officially closed for the 2015-2016 season.

Bleu Blanc Bouge skating rink - Opening January 9, 2016

The brand new Bleu Blanc Bouge refrigerated skating rink located in parc Hayward, this donation by the Montreal Canadians Children's Foundation is run by the Borough, offers free time slots for skating and hockey.

Schedule :

Every Sunday, you can borrow skates free of charge at the Bleu Blanc Bouge skating rink during the public skating session, 11:30 a.m. – 1 p.m. The skate loans will be for children accompanied by one or more adults, upon presentation of valid ID (health insurance cart, driver's licence).

Outdoor skating rinks (Raymond, Lefebvre, Hayward and Riversides parks)

Parcs Raymond and Lefebvre: large skating rink with boards and markings for hockey as well as a trail for public skating.
Parc Riverside: boarded skating rink
Parc Hayward: boardless skating rink

These skating rinks are open once winter weather has settled in well. The skating rinks and chalets are open Monday to Friday, 4 p.m. – 11 p.m., as well as Saturday and Sunday, 9 a.m. – 10 p.m.
