Bulky items and CRD
Bulky items and debris from construction, renovations and demolition (CRD) are picked up the firsts Wednesday of each month. As is the case for the other collections, your discards have to be placed on your property, along the inner edge of the sidewalk, after 7 p.m. the day before the collection or before 7 a.m. on the same day.
Bulky items are waste materials that may not be disposed of with the regular garbage due to their excessive weight or size—for example, furniture, kitchen ranges, refrigerators, washers and dryers and other bulky refuse. Upholstered items are collected household waste.
CRD (construction, renovation and demolition) debris must be disposed of in small amounts at a time. Such debris includes wood, gypsum plasterboard, metal, asphalt, concrete and stones and must be safely placed in a bag or container and weigh no more than 25 kg.
