Description

Who set the fire on April 10, 1734? Was it Anglique, the black slave of the Widow Francheville, who was accused and convicted of the crime? If not, who was guilty? Could it have been an accident? An investigation under the direction of a CHM facilitator is an original way to discover what life was like here during the New France era, when Montral was a colourful, bustling French colonial town!

The tour includes an incursion into the permanent exhibition, a game of detective work in our multi-purpose room and an outdoor tour in which participants will walk in the footsteps of historical figures.
