Preventing waste production: a concrete gesture


Preventing waste production entails preventing overconsuming in order to avoid generating excessive quantities of waste that are sent to landfill sites. For instance, when a purchase is necessary, it is preferable to choose a product that will be durable and reusable.


Reusing: a brilliant option!

Reuse can give items we are no longer using a second chance at life. You can either make a donation or buy used items. Here are a few examples of items that can be reused:

Out-of-date medication 

Most pharmacies recuparate out-of-date medication and used needles. Upon request, the pharmacist will provide you with a container to safely bring your used syringes to the pharmacy. Above all, you must not dispose of this medication in the garbage or toilet, as it contaminates the soil and the water and may cause environmental problems as a result.
