Lachine works with associations of businesspeople that are active in the borough to support economic development.

This organization is composed of some 100 Lachine businesspeople, for whom it organizes networking activities and conferences.

The chamber of commerce’s mission is to help its members be successful and promote their interests in order to contribute to economic growth in Lachine, LaSalle, Verdun and Le Sud-Ouest.
The West Island of Montreal Chamber of Commerce (WIMCC)
The WIMCC is the voice of the West Island business community. Since its creation in 1978, its mission is to represent the interests of its 850 members as well as encourage and promote the development of its business community. The WIMCC’s territory includes all cities and boroughs from Lachine to Sainte-Anne-de-Bellevue.

Association centre-ville Lachine
Association centre-ville Lachine acts as a representative to the borough for all businesses located on Rue Notre-Dame between 6e Avenue and 19e Avenue. The association also organizes a number of entertainment activities, namely an antique and classic car show.
Pôle Touristique des Rapides
The Corporation du Pôle des Rapides is a nonprofit organization that brings together key players whose aim is to promote the southwest region of the island of Montréal. In collaboration with partners, it promotes recreational and tourist activities in the area.
