Dog Park
The dog park is located on Victoria Street near 28e Avenue. Access is restricted to members of the Famille canine de Lachine, the organization mandated by the Borough to ensure proper management of the dog park. Opening hours: 7 am to 10 pm daily.
Rules to be observed at all times by dog owners or guardians
- Accompany your dog within the exercise area (maximum two dogs allowed)
- Immediately pick up your dog’s droppings and dispose of them in bins provided for the purpose
- Keep your dog under control and prevent it from barking or howling so that neighborhood peace and quiet is maintained
- Always latch the gates after entering or leaving the dog exercise area
- Do not enter the park with any animal other than your dog
- Do not train your dog with a ball, stick or any other object
- Do not feed your dog in the exercise area
- Do not consume alcoholic beverages
- Observe all other regulations of the Famille canine de Lachine.
Dogs that are dangerous or aggressive and attack or guard dogs are not allowed.
Failure to observe the regulations can result in either a fine of an amount that varies depending on the violation, or expulsion from the Famille canine de Lachine. Not recommended for children age 12 or under.
To access the dog park you must join the Famille canine, meeting the following requirements:
- Possession of a valid dog license issued by the Borough of Lachine
- proof that your dog has had its vaccinations
- payment of annual membership dues ($25 for the first dog and $10 for the second).

- Promenade du Rail (between 10th0 and 15th Avenues, and between Victoria and William MacDonald Streets)
- Between 15th and 18th Avenues
- Between 18th and 25th Avenues
- 25th Avenue and Notre Dame Street
- 55th Avenue and Highway 20
- Victoria Street and 40th Avenue
- Victoria Street and 28th Avenue
- Stoney Point Park on the waterfront between 45th and 56th Avenues from 6 am to 10 am, and from 6 pm to 10 pm.
