How to go about it
Under the Act respecting access to documents held by public bodies and the protection of personal information, you can ask to consult documents held by the borough. Just contact the person responsible for access to documents, in writing.
Your request must be sufficiently detailed to make it possible to identify the document you want (title, author, subject, date or period in question, department concerned).

The Direction des services administratifs et du greffe has up to thirty days to respond to your request. If you do not receive a reply by that time or if your request is refused, under the Act you can file an appeal with the access to information commission, at:
