Economic development

Thinking of investing in the borough? The economic development is there to lend a helping hand to stores, industries and service businesses with development plans, by smoothing the way in dealings with municipal officials throughout the process. Whether you’re interested in real estate, setting up a new business, or expanding, renovating or restoring existing facilities, let the commissioner guide you through the administrative formalities.

The commissioner is also responsible for municipal initiatives to support street sales, in conjunction with recognized merchants’ associations, and assists merchants who would like to form associations.
