Christina Nancy Eyangos

Christina Nancy EyangosChristina Nancy Eyangos is involved in various initiatives and has always been keen to promote the development of young people from Montreal's Black communities. She has been a social worker at the Côte-des-Neiges Black Community Association, assistant to the coordinator of the Black Perspectives Office at Concordia University, and assistant coordinator for women's issues at the Liberal Party of Canada's Youth Council. She launched the youth initiative, "Je Participe!" which aims to encourage the civic and democratic participation of young people from Black communities, and founded the non-profit organization, "Le Front pour l'intégration des noirs," which works with local merchants to redistribute unsold goods, particularly from Montreal's Afro-Caribbean markets, to families in need. She dreams of a city where there is more mutual support between generations and where young girls, regardless of their life path, have access to quality services and jobs.
