The Centre d'exposition Lethbridge in the Bibliothèque du Boisé presents Vitrea femina
7 février 2019
Saint-Laurent, February 7, 2019 – Art lovers have until March 24 to visit the Vitrea femina exhibition, presented exclusively at the Centre d'exposition Lethbridge in the Bibliothèque du Boisé, located at 2727 boulevard Thimens.
Artists Patricia David and Patrycja Walton both work with glass. Patricia David presents mosaic pictures, a true tribute to the determined and resilient women she admires. As for Patrycja Walton, she draws inspiration from her training in textile arts to create feminine, ethereal glass dresses that project a fractured landscape, similar to lace, onto the walls.
This exhibition is part of the Borough of Saint-Laurent's winter-spring Culture and Libraries program. Over the coming months, theatre, movies, concerts, family shows and library activities will be offered to the public. Most of these events are free of charge. Full details of the program may be found online at ville.montreal.qc.ca/saint-laurent.
