The Féerie d'hiver Winter Wonderland: February 5-7, 2016

Winter will be celebrated in high style in various neighbourhoods in Saint-Laurent, February 5-7, during the 23th edition of the Féerie d'hiver winter wonderland. All throughout this coming weekend, kids and grown-ups are invited to take part in the many entertaining activities outdoors, and all free of charge. As usual, there will be fun for every taste!

Friday, February 5, 6 p.m. – 9 p.m., at Parc Beaudet (corner du Collège and Décarie):
• Evening skating along the lit ice trail: Skate to the sounds of lively music, then sip some warm, non-alcoholic cider.

Saturday, February 6, 9 a.m. – 3 p.m., at Parc Noël-Nord (corner Baker and McCarthy):
• Saint-Laurent Minor Hockey Club Tournament: Cheer on your favourite teams at this annual winter tradition.

Saturday, February 6, 1 p.m. – 4 p.m., at the Chalet d'accueil des Champs, at the entrance to Parc-nature du Bois-de-Liesse (3555 rue Douglas-B.-Floreani):
• Take part in the snow carvings, then warm up around a bonfire. 

Sunday, February 7, 11 a.m. – 3 p.m., at Parc Cousineau (corner O'Brien and Poirier):
• 23th edition of the Féerie d'hiver, with Olympic Winter Wonderland as this year's theme, marking the 40th anniversary of the Montréal Olympic Games. Loads of activities in store: inflatable play structures, a horse-drawn sleigh, pick-up hockey games, an introduction to archery and shot-putting, volleyball and snow soccer, ice sculptures, hot chocolate, and more. Plus a tiny tots area for 5-year-olds and under. A day not to be missed to celebrate winter in Saint-Laurent
