Activities in Montréal’s parks

Tennis (in French)
Eight indoor courts at the Centre de tennis du parc are open year-round (except from mid-July to mid-August). Some 134 outdoor tennis courts are open from May to September or October, depending on the borough.
Cap Saint-Jacques beach
Enjoy a natural sandy beach on the shore of the Lac des Deux Montagnes.
Parc Jean-Drapeau beach (in French)
Cool off at a beautiful sandy beach just minutes from downtown, with grade-A water quality at all times.
Day camps
Municipal day camps
There are 150 municipal day camps (run by the city or partner organization) in Montréal’s 19 boroughs. More than 15,000 youth ages three to 17 attend each year.

Municipal golf course (in French)
A nine-hole golf course in Rosemont – La Petite-Patrie is open from May to October.

Mount Royal and Montréal's nature parks are perfect places to go hiking without leaving the island.
Pôle des Rapides
This natural oasis features 100 km of bike paths along the Saint Lawrence River and the Lachine Canal.
Biking and rollerblading
Biking and rollerblading sites (in French)
Biking and rollerblading is allowed on bike paths and paved areas in Montréal’s parks. There are also specially designed indoor and outdoor sites for biking and rollerblading.
