Monday to Friday: From 8:30 a.m. to 8:30 p.m.
Saturday, Sunday and public holidays: From 9 a.m. to 5 p.m.
City hall has been closed to the public since May 2019. The building is undergoing a heritage restoration aimed at bringing it up to standard, modernizing it and ensuring that it is better adapted to democratic life.
Description
All political and democratic functions of city hall have been relocated to the Lucien-Saulnier building, located at 155 Rue Notre-Dame Est, in the heart of Vieux-Montréal (métro Champ-de-Mars).
Each month, residents can attend virtualcity council meetings, agglomeration council meetings, executive committee meetings and public consultations held by the council’s standing committees, all of which are webcast.
Guided tours, film shoots, illuminations and flags are suspended until further notice.
For marriage or civil union celebrations, you must contact the Palais de Justice de Montréal. No celebrations are held at city hall.
