Mission

Reporting to the executive committee, the city manager oversees the city’s administrative activities, supports the decision-making process of political bodies and implements their decisions and ensures that their decisions are implemented. He also sets out and monitors priorities for municipal departments.

The city manager plays a role of leadership, expertise and coordination with respect to internal oversight, sustainable development, the smart and digital city, governmental and municipal relations, integration of new arrivals and coordinating capital works, customer experience and resilience projects and programs.
