Turn off the lights on March 19, from 8:30 p.m. to 9:30 p.m.
Join the thousands of people who are participating in the Earth Hour movement, organized by the World Wildlife Fund (WWF). It couldn’t be easier! Just turn off the lights on Saturday, March 19, from 8:30 p.m. to 9:30 p.m. This symbolic gesture will show your support for the fight against climate change.
For its 10th edition, Earth Hour will once again bring communities around the world closer together through simple but far-reaching initiatives. Lights will be turned off for one hour on Saturday, March 19, on six continents, and in more than 170 countries and 24 time zones. In solidarity with the large cities of the world that are concerned about reducing their greenhouse gas emissions and ecological footprint, Montréal will turn off the lights in its main administrative buildings, including city hall and the cross atop Mount Royal, as a commitment to fighting climate change.
Follow the movement, turn off the lights!
