Educational activities guide
Educational activities for students from preschool to secondary school,
designed according to the Programme de formation de l’école québécoise
Once again this year, the Montréal Biodôme, Insectarium, Botanical Garden and
Planetarium are offering over fifty different educational activities and tools.
All these educational resources are designed around the Quebec Education Program
and are in line with its:
- cross-curricular competencies (intellectual, methodological, social, etc.)
- broad areas of learning (environmental awareness and consumer rights and
responsibilities, health and welfare, citizenship and community life, etc.)
- subject areas (science and technology, social sciences, mathematics,
languages)
Our science interpreters will be delighted to share their expertise in
ecology, environment, entomology, botany, horticulture and astronomy. The
hands-on workshops and other activities are sure to be a fabulous learning
experience for your students. Interpreted tours are a great way to get your
students interested in science, to pique their curiosity and to get them using
their critical skills and initiative.
Have fun learning!!
