Rendez-Vous Novembre 2007 – Montréal, Cultural Metropolis was a meeting held at the Palais des congrès de Montréal from November 12 to 13, 2007. It resulted in an exceptional mobilization of representatives of cultural and business milieus. Close to 1,300 people registered for the event, and some 80 organizations participated in Place du Rendez-vous with all kinds of cultural projects.

Further to the two days of reflections and discussions, the 2007-2017 Action Plan—Montréal Cultural Metropolis became a roadmap for everyone who has an interest in Montréal’s cultural and economic development.

This 10-year Action Plan was based on five main orientations, which are necessary to develop and then maintain the status of Montréal as a 21st century cultural metropolis that prioritizes creativity, originality and diversity.
