Financial assistance programs

Service du développement culturel, de la qualité du milieu de vie et de la diversité ethnoculturelle

Financial assistance is available to cultural organizations and the boroughs from the Service du développement culturel, de la qualité du milieu de vie et de la diversité ethnoculturelle (SDCQMVDE) under the financial assistance programs offered each year. The SDCQMVDE also offers technical support and expertise to cultural groups in addition to the financial assistance that it provides each year.

Montréal hopes to promote the presence in the city of artists, craftspeople and organizations and enhance Montrealers’ quality of life. To this end, it has implemented an array of specific programs, some of which* are offered under the Entente sur le développement culturel de Montréal entre la Ville de Montréal et le ministère de la Culture, des Communications et de la Condition féminine.

Cultural organizations can also submit applications for financial assistance to the Conseil des arts de Montréal.
