Looking for an interesting way to discover local culture? DISTROBOTO machines are former cigarette vending machines that have been converted to sell works of art of all kinds: little books, mini-CDs of film or music, arts and crafts etc. The low price of $2 per item and the novelty of getting art from a vending machine helps people discover local artists they might not have otherwise. What’s more, anybody can submit their ideas for items to sell in the Distroboto machines!
These machines will be placed in the following Réseau Accès culture locations for a year, starting September 2009 :
