Occupancy of public domain

Public domain comprises infrastructure (roads, streets, sidewalks, etc.) used by the public. Any occupancy of public domain must be authorized by the City and its boroughs. This use may be permanent, periodic or temporary.

The city usually includes the charge for permanent occupancy of public domain in the user’s city tax bill. Separate invoices apply to periodic or temporary use.
