2020 Budget and 2020-2022 TCWP
On November 25, 2019, the city's executive committee approved a balanced operating budget of $6.17 billion for 2020 and a 2020-2022 Three-year capital works program (TCWP) of $6.06 billion. The decisions that were made for the operating budget and TCWP were inspired by the first pre-budget consultation in Montréal's history, which was held from March to May 2019, and the "Rêvons Montréal 2020-2030" consultation that was held almost simultaneously. The budget confirms the choices that were made in terms of ecological transition, mobility, housing and economic development in order to build a city in the image of Montrealers.
