This reader advisory program targets parents and their children (infants to five years of age) and, in particular, people in disadvantaged areas and new arrivals, with a view to fostering social integration.
Using books, Contact, le plaisir des livres (Contact, the joy of reading) promotes an interest in reading and in learning French.
Contact, le plaisir des livres (Contact, the joy of reading) also allows children and adults to share their discovery of books during their daily lives. Without obligation or restrictions, these no-cost meetings take place in areas frequented by families, such as low-cost housing complexes, CLSCs, community organizations, family homes, toy libraries and, during the summer, in parks.
It’s a simple formula
- A ground cover...
- A backpack full of accessible and attractive books...
- A dynamic and open team of animators...
